Be our guest so you can experience and discover Wooddale. Be part of a worship service, stop by the Guest Center, get a coffee and a roll and tell us a little about yourself. We would love to learn your name and a bit of your story and answer your questions.
Wooddale Worldwide has partnered with Daystar University in Kenya to provide a God-centered education for those who do not have the financial means. Here is the story of Davies Okoyo Mungoni, majoring in Applied Computer Science that Worldwide supports:
One of the greatly anticipated dates on Wooddale’s senior adult calendar is the Senior Adults Waffle Breakfast on Saturday, January 17. The breakfast will feature Jose’s delicious waffles with all the trimmings – hot maple syrup, strawberries, whipped cream, bacon and beverages. A special program will be presented by Tom Stolz following the breakfast.
Have you ever left a worship service thinking, “I would love to talk with some friends about that sermon we just heard!”?
LifeGroups provide the opportunity for that conversation to continue! LifeGroups are groups of 8-12 people that meet weekly to dig deeper into the weekend messages and work together to live out faith in everyday life.
Over the last six months, Wooddale has embarked on an exhaustive national search with several candidates from across the nation for the next Children’s Pastor for Wooddale – Eden Prairie. The interview process has included pastors, elders, parents and volunteers from the Children’s Ministry.
What do you have to do to achieve greatness? Jesus instructed his disciples on this very subject in the New Testament book of Matthew. In chapter 20, he gave them some puzzling advice. In verses 25-27 he told them, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you.
Marcie and Doug Langefels volunteer together in the Connections ministry at the New Here? Stop Here station near Door 2 on the Eden Prairie campus. They answer questions and provide a warm welcome for those who are new to Wooddale. “I encouraged my husband to serve with me,” said Marcie.
Pastor Dale continues to encourage us to pray for, and share the Gospel with, seven people in our lives. Praying and being an example are significant ways for God to use us to bring others to Christ. We must lean on him to discern how to align our faith with our actions and be genuine witnesses. God often uses his people in unexpected ways.
