Be our guest so you can experience and discover Wooddale. Be part of a worship service, stop by the Guest Center, get a coffee and a roll and tell us a little about yourself. We would love to learn your name and a bit of your story and answer your questions.
The Care Ministry of Wooddale Church is expanding. While familiar touch points of hospital visits, weddings, funerals, baptisms and membership continue, Care Pastor Gary Clark suggests an expanding picture is beginning to form. “Beyond serving our own, the Care Ministry is uniquely positioned to reach outside our walls to share the hope of the Gospel.”
As someone who is new to Wooddale, the multitude of ministry names was overwhelming. But I was immediately drawn to something called Love In[Deed]. The name implied a ministry that shares the love of Jesus through action. When I looked into it, there was even more to this ministry than I expected!
The next Getting to Know Wooddale seminar is scheduled for September 20 at 8:30 a.m. The next First Step is scheduled for September 28 at 12:10 p.m. Both are held on the Eden Prairie campus. Both events help you learn about Wooddale Church. The question is: What’s the difference?
The increase in activity on the Eden Prairie campus during the week also brings an expanded Wooddale Café schedule and menu. No need to dash home for a quick bite before coming to church. Enjoy a delicious, nutritious meal in the Wooddale Café.
Jesus turned water into wine. He healed the sick. He calmed storms. He turned a small meal into enough food to feed thousands. He walked on water. He brought the dead back to life. Every one of these events is considered a miracle – an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws.
Wooddale’s Refugee Resettlement ministry equips small groups to share the love of Christ in word and deed by helping refugee families in their need for community orientation, employment, budgeting, education and friendship during their first year in Minnesota. Love InDeed Refugee Resettlement (LIDRR) teams are made up of Wooddale small groups that have seen lives changed.
