About
The purpose of Wooddale Church is to honor God by making more disciples for Jesus Christ.

Over three million! That’s the number of times people in Minnesota visited food shelves in 2012. According to a Gallup poll conducted between January and June 2012, more than one of eight Minnesotans (12.9 percent) indicated that there were times in the previous twelve months when they did not have enough money to buy food. (Facts provided by Minnesota Food Share 2013 Hunger Fact Sheet)
As Wooddalers, we can share our blessings from God and help those experiencing hunger in our community by participating in the Spring Food Drive. When is it? Now through March 24.
How can we help? Fill one or two grocery bags with basic foods (e.g. canned fruits, vegetables and meats), personal hygiene items, and baby products and then return the bags to the church. Available flyers list additional suggestions for items that are especially needed.
Where do the items go? The donations dropped off at the Eden Prairie campus are taken to several local food shelves/ministries: PROP of Eden Prairie, Community Emergency Service,Breaking Free, Urban Ventures, Midwest Challenge, Faith Tabernacle Gospel Church and Jericho Road. All of the donations dropped off at the Edina campus are taken to VEAP (a food shelf serving Richfield, Edina and Bloomington).
Reminders: Buying items in bulk quantities is encouraged. Please do not bring opened packages, home-canned items, expired items or dented cans.
If you have additional questions or are able to assist with weekday morning deliveries, call Kathy at 952.944.6300, ext. 265.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:16
