Psalm 19 is one of the finest examples of Hebrew poetry. C.S. Lewis said, “I take this to be the greatest poem in the Psalter.” Powerful imagery and great theology come together under David’s hand to give us a rich picture of God’s power and his blessings.
As David ponders God, he reveals a heart like ours, when he writes in verse 14, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.”
