An event every week that begins at 9:30am on Wednesday, repeating until February 13, 2019
The first wave of Jewish exiles returned from Babylon to Jerusalem under the authority of the Persian King Cyrus in 538 BC, in order to rebuild Solomon’s temple. It was in horrible condition. Their enemies attacked their efforts and they quit, and focused on their own homes and needs. Join us as we look at how prophets like Haggai and Zechariah stir God’s people to repentance; how a man like Ezra leads God’s people to do His work; and how a pagan king accomplishes God’s redemptive purposes. More importantly, we’ll see how these principles can apply to us today. This study meets Wednesdays, January 9 – February 13, 2019.
