When you dedicate your child to the Lord, you are giving thanks to God and committing to faithfully raise your child in a godly home. But it’s more than that. The church is also making a commitment to cherish and pray for your child — and for you as parents — and partner with you in your child’s faith development. Dedicating your child to the Lord is an act of faith and a special moment of encouragement for parents and the congregation.
Wooddale Church offers dedications for infants and young children in our worship services on a quarterly basis. To dedicate your child, you must first participate in the Parent-Child Dedication Class.
