Collin’s road to youth ministry started with a slip-up on national television.
As the long snapper for Virginia Tech’s football team, Collin had two high snaps in a big game against the University of Miami. But through that experience, Collin rediscovered God’s unconditional acceptance, and he knew he was called to relay that news to others.
After college, the Edina High School grad received a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University in Illinois. He has since served as a TV reporter, advertising copywriter, content marketer and student ministry volunteer, but his greatest passion is telling stories that help make the gospel click for young people.
Collin is also a big fan of his six younger siblings, karaoke, peanut butter chocolate ice cream, Celine Dion’s Christmas album and, of course, Diet Dr. Pepper.
