Sage Bjornrud joined the Wooddale staff as The Avenue campus director and Edina campus coordinator in March 2025. Having grown up in ministry as a pastor’s kid, Sage has worked at churches of varying sizes, including a church plant in Minnesota and a large church in Colorado.
Sage is finishing a Master of Divinity degree at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. She earned a degree in Pastoral Ministry from UNWSP in 2023.
Growing up in a ministry family, Sage has spent much time with her parents, sister and others serving their church families and having long, theologically rich conversations in their living room. Sage loves studying and practicing discipleship and spiritual formation, and is passionate about equipping people to experience Jesus in their everyday lives. Colossians is her favorite book in the Bible. She is also a huge football fan.
