DESCRIPTION:One of Wooddale’s values is to be profoundly generous. We recognize that all our resources come from God and we generously give our talent\, time and treasure to bless others in our community. \nWill you join us? You can make an impact on students at several local schools and their families by joining Wooddale in our annual school supply drive. \nStarting June 28 through July 26\, we are collecting school supplies for students at Eden Lake Elementary and Central Middle School in Eden Prairie and VEAP in Edina. \nThere are three ways you can contribute to the school supply drive: \n\nPick up a tag during a weekend service in the lobby\, purchase the item(s) on the tag and drop them off at Wooddale before July 26.\nMake a financial donation\nPurchase school supplies on Amazon\n\nThank you for joining us as we bless our community in a practical way.

SUMMARY:Baptism Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Baptism is an essential part of a Christian’s identification with Jesus Christ. Throughout the book of Acts\, wherever baptism occurred\, it always followed a profession of belief in Jesus. It demonstrates our love and obedience to Jesus and is an outward sign of an inward commitment to follow him. \nBaptism is also a vivid picture of Jesus’ death\, burial and resurrection and a believer’s similar spiritual path. The believer’s old self has been crucified with Christ and buried before coming out of the water raised in the “newness of life.”Baptism displays the beginning of the Christian life\, which is why at Wooddale Church\, baptism is a celebration. We baptize regularly and encourage every believer to be obedient to Christ’s command in the Bible to be baptized. \nWhether you are new to the Christian faith and have not yet been baptized or have been a believer for months or years but have never been baptized after your commitment to Christ\, we encourage you to complete the process of baptism. \nNext baptism dates: \n\nAugust 30\, 2026 (registration due by August 16)\n\nPlease contact our pastoral team if you have questions.
