Volunteer Opportunities

God designed His Church to be made up of gifted individuals, all forming one body. It takes many uniquely gifted people for the body to function well. We hope to help you find your perfect fit at Wooddale Church. Please take a look at the different volunteer opportunities available to you.

1 to 1 Spiritual Mentoring

One-to-One Spiritual Mentoring is two people meeting regularly for spiritual and personal growth. The goal of One-to-One Spiritual Mentoring is a transformed life that is increasingly God-centered (Matt. 6:33), influenced by God's Word (John 8:31-32), characterized by love for God and people (Mark 12:30-31), becoming more like Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 3:18) and committed to ministry (John 13:12-17).

Worship Arts

Wooddale Church’s worship services are designed to honor God. We provide three styles of worship to engage believers in an authentic worship experience and to engage people in an experience that provides clear direction for them to consider the truths of Christianity for their own lives. Though private worship is an important spiritual discipline, we believe corporate worship offers an even broader experience. When people come together to praise God, we experience the power and blessing of community, a dynamic so unique it simply can't be replicated when we're alone.

Connection Coaches

We care about helping you find a place where you can connect and grow! Connection Coaches are individuals that want to help you better understand all the different ways you can engage at Wooddale Church. After meeting with a Connection Coach you'll have ideas of communities you might like to be a part of or areas where you might like to volunteer.

FirstLook

FirstLook provides you an opportunity to experience various volunteer positions at Wooddale to help find a good fit for you. This is an opportunity to "shadow" a volunteer, meet other volunteers who are a part of that ministry and ask any questions about that specific volunteer role. If you like the volunteer role you can then decide to take the next step. However, if it's not a good fit, you are free to do a FirstLook at another volunteer position!
