Prayer for my son who was six weeks sober on Friday, but has had a bad two days. we had an intervention yesterday and he is quite remorseful. He has agreed to look into inpatient treatment. Pray for his commitment and to feel the peace that God can bring in this challenging time.
Please pray for my 2 year old grandson, Vonnen, is diagnosed with cancer and will undergo radiation and chemo in the several few weeks. He had one of his kidneys removed because the cancer took it over. Please pray for Vonnen, his mother Eleesha and his father Pedro along with all the family and friends. Pray for Carlos and his family. PRAISE: Carlos was just released from detention after 4 months and 8 days when the courts ruled he was illegally abducted and detained. PRAY that his transition back is smooth and that the next part of his asylum hearing on June 23 goes well and he can continue to remain in the US.
Carlos and his family are seeking asylum from Ecuador. He is 28 years old, never had a criminal record, has 2 jobs and is a nice young man. He is a father of 2 and his wife is 6 months pregnant.
Please pray that I can trust God and feel comforted by him in the face of challenges with finding employment, battling addiction, and pending legal consequences.
Please pray for my daughter, Elizabeth. She became very sick last year and needs prayers to recover in Gods perfect timing. Please pray for my other daughter, Amanda, who just finished college and feels sad about it and misses her church there. Please pray they know God loves them.
I’m urgently looking for a job because my husband’s income alone is not enough to cover our basic expenses. I have also had no response from the job applications I submitted over the past two weeks, which has been discouraging. Our daughter will be traveling to Virginia for the national debate competition on 6/20–6/21, and we need to arrange funds for her trip very soon.
My uncle passed away last Saturday morning. He waited for my aunt and his daughters to arrive before he took his last breath. Today, May 1, is his catholic funeral and time with family to celebrate his life. Please keep my aunt in your prayers, she has been caring for my uncle the last 30 years and has some decisions to make about her future and going through my uncles things.
