Dear friends,
We returned from California a week ago Sunday - somewhat worn out, but strong in the faith God had given us, walking us through this journey these past two months (we actually lived in California 12 of the past 15 months!). We were fully aware when we left February 1st that we would be facing the passing of Debbie's mother, Lillian, and her sister, Jeanine. But living through it is another story.
We are grateful for a very supportive church we connected with - Friends Church of Orange
The pastor, Jay Hewitt, took us in so warmly, and we also developed relationships with others in this "startup" church, the parent church being Friends Church Yorba Linda. Up until the time Debbie's mother entered the nursing home, we would take her to Friends Church Orange on Sundays. It is a young, vibrant and passionate church with a lot of millennials. Music is cutting edge contemporary. After one service, a friend asked Lillian if the music was too loud, to which she replied "not at all." She also did not want the service to end! The church meets in an old packing house in the City of Orange - next to the railroad track. Sundays at Friends Church Orange was a retreat for us!
Debbie’s sister, Jeanine, passed on February 20, one day after the 24th anniversary of the accident that led to a life as a paraplegic. Debbie’s mother, Lillian, passed March 19.
We are grateful for all and, as we prayed for others, we cherished your prayers as we walked through this journey.
Please pray for protection over my body and abilities. Pray that the enemy would not have his way in my life and that my body would be completely healed in Jesus name. That I could continue to glorify him. In Jesus name Amen
Please pray fo me, I have been experiencing ear problems in my right ear, it started with what seemed like congestion but now maybe some hearing loss. I'm scared and would like a prayer for Gods healing. Thanks
Please pray for healing for my husband who continues to deal with major anxiety and depression. He is going through his 4th med change in 3 months and is losing hope as the meds seem to make his anxiety worse. Please pray for God's will to be done and that God will strengthen his faith! Thank you!
Please pray for peace - I am a single mom and my only child is about to leave the nest. I knew this time was coming but it doesn't lessen the sadness or anxiety I have; for him as he makes his way in life - or me as I face living alone. Please pray for God's direction and blessing as my son makes choices of roommates/where to live (pray he would choose a christian roommate). Please pray for peace for me as I learn to let go and find a new chapter in life.
Please pray for a co-worker and close friend who is on the forefront of a divorce. Help him as he goes through the coming months so he is able to trust again, help give him strength to take the "high-road" through this process; which is clearly going to be extremely difficult given the circumstances. Please allow him to the appreciate all the good things which are in his life...loving children, good job and the love of his family and friends. Pray for him to have a closer relationship with God as he writes the next chapter of his life. Amen.
Please pray for a dear friend whose young adult daughter is in a concerning relationship with a man who has struck her and seems to have a great deal of influence over her. Please help this child know the strength and worth she has and help her walk a path that showers her with God's love and helps her build a stronger, positive relationship with her Mother and Father. Amen.
Hi brothers and sisters. Can you please pray for total deliverance, healing and restoration from demonic oppression in my body. It has been going on for quite some time now and I really need intercession. Thank you so much in advance. I appreciate all of you praying for me. God bless you!
Pray for my best friend Rachel's mom, Cheri, as she battles cancer. Pray that the Lord will help heal her and let her beautiful spirit continue to shine. Pray for strength for Cheri and her precious family at this difficult time.
Please pray for my current relationship. He is a good man but complications from our past marriages and distance/kids have made it challenging. I have made mistakes. Pray he will forgive me and that our relationship continues. I feel we are very good together but some of my insecurities still remain as do his. Pray we can work through this together.
