Prayer for my job search. I have gone through significant coaching and resume updates. It has been two years since I lost my job due to staff reductions. I have been doing temp work in Minnesota. My husband is in Florida and I want to be there with him. The job market is very difficult to break into in Florida. I have had excellent interviews in Florida but keep getting turned down. I need insight into what I am doing wrong.
My needs are small in comparison to the trials of many, but I would appreciate prayer as I am suffering from deep anxiety over the things that I cannot control.
1) Our humble condo must sell by mid-November. We have had many showings, much interest, but no bites (it does not need any work, it shows well). Condo living is not for everyone, we know. We have lowered the price twice already and cannot afford to go much lower. We are up against many factors (the season, the type of housing it is, the deadline, etc.) and finding a right buyer who is not on a contingency is looking impossible. Only God can work this one out.
2) We are struggling to find a church. We have been wounded deeply by a pastor scandal from the church we are members at. Though the scandal was over 2 years ago the church continues to be weak and in shambles, especially leadership. We are feeling led to leave. But where? My spouse and I differ on what we feel we can compromise on in a church. I am willing to accept mediocre preaching if I feel fed in other ways (music, fellowship, service). My spouse won't accept anything but the "best" preaching and that's not been easy to find.
God is in control, I know. God can do the impossible, I know. I believe He can do anything and knows all. Just feeling simultaneously depressed and frustrated by both of these areas in our life right now. We feel failed by our former pastor and somewhat failed by our realtor. But God can do anything regardless of a poor pastor or a poor realtor. We are not as abandoned as we feel.
Help us sell our home, despite all the hurdles we can see. Help us find a church home where we can find a church family and support. Help us not to despair or feel such anxiety over God's silence.

Please pray for my children. I moved to Minessota from out of state for a better job offer and for a better life of my children. God had brought me here for a reason and I pray for my children to follow me here. Please pray my children will be safe and reunited with their mother soon.
Please pray for my best friend Chelsea. She has to deliver her baby girl that she lost this morning. Pray for Gods peace to continue to surround her and her hubby. Pray the drugs would kick in RIGHT NOW so she can deliver and not have to wait any more. In Jesus sweet name amen
Please pray for Anna as she continues to recover from a viral infection before she can return to chemotherapy to battle her breast cancer. She had surgery several weeks ago to have a 'food tube' inserted in her stomach so that she can receive nutrition on a regular basis. Please pray that God will make a way as her family has been told that Anna will be discharged from her care center due to her insurance coverage ending the rehab care she has received. Pray also for peace for Anna and her children as well as her extended family. Anna is a follower of Jesus. Thank you.
Pray for the young man who is on a bridge over Hwy 100 and is threatening to jump. Pray that he is surrounded by God's love and comfort at this difficult time in his life. Pray that he changes his mind and chooses to live.
Heavenly father I, confess all our sins (me, daughter, husband) forgive us, shower YOUR mercy- deliver me from devil’s clutches (unwanted-uneven-ugly thoughts could not control). Touch; heal our mind, body, soul. Destroy all evil plans. Keep us healthy-happy, help my daughter in her study, give her knowledge-wisdom, protect us from all illness-infections, control my husband’s anger, YOU are my only hope, protect my job-no one may harm me at my job place, provide me finance, hide identity, IJN Amen
I pray to be the mother God wants me to be and that our financial situation improves. I pray my heart heals and God will bring the person He wants in our life. I turn everything over to God.
Please pray for my brother Mark who is having brain surgery on Monday Oct 17 and for my 88 year old mother who is recovering from ulcer and gallbladder (double surgeries). Her white blood cell count is way too high and continues to come down and go up without warning. Mom lives in Texas and Mark lives here in Minnesota. He has a family and grandchildren that love him very very much. He lives for these kids also. I do not know many of you personally but ask for prayer and healing for this loving man and his mother.....Thank you....God Bless You All
