My wife and I have been at the Methodist emergency room since 6:00 p.m. yesterday until this morning. My wife was having some abdominal pain. I was standing outside feeling anxious, so I started reading the Gospel of John. I had such peace thinking about Jesus and his words, and praying. A few hours later I started talking with a man named Steven who was vaping outside. I shared with him what I was reading. He shared with me his life. During COVID he was diagnosed with Diabetes. He shared how he stayed home for months, playing Play Station, giving himself insulin shots and starting to drink. I shared with him my testimony about how I was contemplating suicide and God brought me a friend. That same friend was my best man a decade later. I prayed with him, and he kept telling me how good it was to connect with me. Will you pray that God might awaken his heart and reveal the glory of Jesus to him? Also, my wife is getting her gal bladder removed. Surprisingly, we have total peace about the operation. Thank you.

Please pray for my dad who is going through medical issues. They are on their way to the Foley area because that is where they will be retiring. Doctors are talking MRI and possible back surgery again. My dad, Gerald, is a pastor and in ministry up in the Virginia, MN area. When he retires wondering how we are going to make it financially and who would hire him part-time after just having back surgery.
Our son, who has been so grounded in his faith throughout high school, then quieter but not defiant in college, now as a young adult is moving quickly into secularized thinking and behavior. The isolation of the pandemic has caused a backsliding in general maturity. We're about to have an extended talk with him. Please pray that God go ahead of us and soften his heart, reawaken his soul to the Lordship of God, and that he recommits to living for the Lord. We are deeply concerned and grieved (and afraid) of choices and influences that will pull him far from faith in God. God help us...

Pray for my Dad as he’s diminishing in health with lack of socialization. In addition, may I find Him my guide as I care for his quality of life in a time of dementia.
Praise Yahweh for working through me at work in an oppressive environment to perform at supernatural capacity! Like Moses, he delivers! May I focus on the Great I AM! May I know whose I am!
Pray for friend Katie. May she hear good voices that speak into her perceived limitations about being capable for relationships. May she see GOD as our reliance, dependence and strength to overcome mountains of depression.
May I look to Him in my loneliness to find trusted true friends who will be warriors in life side by side and not run or abandon the battle.
Thank God for Brian Schulenburg, his compassion to take me to lunch and spend time hearing my distress and praying, but most importantly walking me through it.
My husband Kevin’s surgery was postponed until Sept. 8th. Thank you for your continued prayers as once again wait. We ask for peace, strength, trust and patience for us and wisdom and skill for all the doctors and caregivers.
Please pray that God will give my doctors the knowledge to figure out my meds.
Pray that they can get my pain and anxiety under control. Help me find caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy caretakers. Help to find a wheelchair that I'm comfortable in and I can drive my van.

Please pray for me and my family. I left my husband of 25 years due to his alcoholism and refusal to get help. We have two adult daughters this will also affect greatly.
