Making a life-changing impact on children around the world. On Saturday, April 27, join other volunteers from Wooddale Church at the Chanhassen Feed My Starving Children location to pack nutritious meals for hungry children.
Volunteering at Feed My Starving Children is fun, upbeat and energizing. You’ll work alongside others to pack easy-to-prepare meals of rice, soy, vegetables and essential vitamins and minerals. These meals will then be sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to partners working hard to reach the neediest children worldwide.
There will be five packing shifts, so there’s undoubtedly a perfect time for you and your family or group. The Feed My Starving Children serving event is an excellent way for individuals to volunteer and meet others, but it’s also a family-friendly event. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to participate when accompanied by supervising adults. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed in our packing area (sorry, no exceptions).
Please follow this student-to-adult ratio when registering to volunteer:
- Grades K-2: 1 student to 1 adult
- Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult
- Grades 7-12: 4 students to 1 adult
