Dr. Swanson has served as superintendent of Eden Prairie Schools since 2017, bringing more than two decades of experience in education and leadership. A passionate advocate for student learning, innovation and continuous improvement, he has led transformative technology initiatives, including one of Minnesota’s first “bring your own device” programs and a districtwide digital conversion that ensures every student has access to personalized learning. With prior experience spanning roles from teacher and coach to executive director of technology and assistant superintendent, Dr. Swanson also remains active in statewide educational leadership while serving his local community.
Dr. Andrew Denton
President, Crown College
Dr. Denton is completing his fifth year as president of Crown College, where he serves with a clear commitment to Christ-centered leadership and academic excellence. His vision is for Crown to be the boldly Christian college of the Midwest, preparing students for lives of leadership, service and calling. Since beginning his presidency, Crown has experienced significant momentum, including more than $22 million invested in campus facilities and over 20 percent enrollment growth since Fall 2021. Dr. Denton is deeply committed to fostering a lifelong, authentic Christian community where spiritual formation, academic rigor and Christ-centered relationships are central to the student experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Saint Louis University and an MBA from Missouri State University. He and his wife, Linda, will celebrate 28 years of marriage in May and are the proud parents of Lexie, Ashlyn and Drew.
