Still processing and getting the results from the tests that have been done and trying not to research what the findings mean and waiting for March for the follow-up appointment.
This week in Arizona on vacation. Taking the Sabbath Challenge to heart. Disconnecting from the internet and enjoying family and God’s creation. Also through this time searching for what God is direction and guidance for my life in job and where He wants me to be.

Please pray for Weston, a 9-year-old boy who was just diagnosed on Friday, January 3rd with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a very aggressive form of leukemia. He has already endured many procedures and treatments including a bone marrow biopsy, lumbar puncture, central line, chemo, blood transfusions... He is intubated and being monitored in ICU. Today, they determined that Weston has a high-risk form of AML and will need a bone marrow transplant on top of his chemo treatments. Please pray that they will find a match for the bone marrow transplant. His immediate family, mom, dad, brother and sister are getting tested to find out if they are a match. Please pray that Weston will respond well to all treatments, that his WBC count will continue to drop and that there are signs of healing, that he remains safe while in the hospital, and that he feels God's loving arms of love and protection. Please also pray for his immediate and extended family and friends, that they will be hopeful is the midst of this serious health crisis and that there is peace and comfort that penetrates their darkest moments. Please also pray for Weston's medical team, that they remain sharp, conscientious, and have great wisdom while caring for Weston. I just recived word that my Brother is having some health issues. Enlarged Liver and a cyst on his pancreas. He is not a beliver. The doctors will be running more tests, MRI ect. Please pray for comfort and peace as Ryan journeys thru this. Also pray for his family, He has a teenage Daughter.

I am headed back to school for a second masters in marriage and family therapy at Bethel. I would appreciate prayer for the acceptance into the seminary as well as for funding of it. Additionally, my wife and I are launching a business in AI Fine Art as a joint venture and it has been a blessing to us as we seek the face of God to showcase his glory through it. We are so close to launching it on Etsy and doing well with it. That would be a main stay of income for us as I do school if we do it right. I will still be a building sub at Eagle Ridge but we will transition it to the business for our income. We would have two stores going--one for my wife and her style and one for mine for sure if not more depending on what she decides on her end. Please pray as we make this transition to more flexibility and school for us and our God given future.
We also have a close friend who is going through major stage four cancer treatments and cannot be around anyone for another three weeks. He had a major surgery the end of last month and is no at home. His name is Michael.

Please pray for my son’s relationship with his partner in life and their three children. They are near a breakup and she would be moving out of state with the children. I am the grandpa and I would also be suffering the loss of my grandkids whom I currently see several times a week and try to instill faith in Christ into all their lives. Tough situation to say the least. I so want my son to marry his gal who is a wonderful person and mother, but this is all on the verge of total breakup. Salvation is also need for all involved.
Please pray somehow this family stays together and marriage is consummated. I know Christ is still in the Lord of miracles. May his will be done.

Been going through some testing to figure out what is going on with my liver and stomach issues. The test results are coming in and there are a list of issues that are being discovered. Pray that I will not overreact and will breathe and lean on God for the clarity and the ability to process the information when it is all in and wait for the follow up appointment so all may be explained and what to do next.

Hello
This Thanksgiving my wife and I invited my aunt and two cousins over for dinner. We have never had visited with them aside from a few brief family gatherings over the decades. My aunt has been more or less estranged from our extended family due to her ongoing selfishness, bitterness and anger.
The last time I talked with one of the cousins was many years ago at her dad's funeral at a local church. Her dad did not attend church. The pastor shared the Gospel message at the service and I shared the hope of Jesus with my cousin during dinner after the service. During that time she was working through depression and a lot of anxiety.
On Thursday when she arrived at our home, she seemed different to me. During dinner she shared that the same church that held a service for her dad is her home church. I also noticed that she was wearing a bracelet with a cross and a ring with a cross on it. Such a wonderful surprise! Praise God!
It seems like the Lord would have us spend sometime with my Aunt going for walks this winter and Spring. I appreciate prayers that he would give us words to share with her, opportunities to serve her, that he would give her the capacity to believe in Jesus and draw her to himself.
