Please pray for my husband\'s step-mom, Joyce. She will be having masses in her lung biopsied on Wed (9/6) and likely won\'t get the results until the following week. Please pray for peace and comfort during the waiting and for God\'s will in the results. The doctors are saying it is likely cancer. She is a believer and all she asked of us was for prayer. We submitted a prayer request over a month ago regarding brain surgery for Pastor Jay Hewitt in California. Today we received news that Jay's surgery has finally been scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th. The surgery is evidently being done by a different surgeon and location. We do not know all those reasons, but the surgery will be taking place in San Francisco rather than in Orange County. Please pray for Pastor Jay and his wife Natalie and another friend Nancy Foster as they are together for this very delicate and serious surgery on Tuesday. Also please include the hands of his surgeon and surgical team. There is a blood vessel that is running through the tumor which is not malignant,

Please pray for my brother Samuel. Six years ago, when he was 10 yrs old he went to the end of the driveway to wait to cross the street and play at the park. A woman on her cellphone went over the white line and hit him. He has a traumatic brain injury and developed severe hydrocephalus after the wrong shunt was placed in his head. Thank God for the other neurosurgeon we found who got the right shunt in and his hydrocephalus has been slowly resolving for 6 yrs. Samuel spent 3 months in a coma and said he was in Heaven the whole time. He has a great desire to tell people what he experienced. Pray for complete healing and restoration of his body. Pray for the spiritual warfare surrounding him and protection against satan. Prayers that God's purpose for Samuel be fulfilled! Amen

Please pray for my cousin,her husband and her three children. Her husband was in jail a couple of years ago for drugs. They patched up their relationship when he got out. Just found out today that he is heavily drinking everyday and their relationship is falling apart. Please pray that he will get the help he needs and become sober.
