I have a special prayer request because I have a friend who is a single African American mom who would like to move to the Twin Cities to continue her education and have better employment for her and her 1.5 year old son. I am seeking to network for her to find housing and a good job. She is advanced in different skills but is not finding the right job in out state Minnesota. She is a student already and is doing well in school. She is working part time where she is but that is not enough income for her and her son. She doesn't want to stay on the systems that we have here. Instead, she wants to add value to the society around her. She has previously worked for the US Embassy in Togo and has large dreams of working with the United Nations. Please pray that God would bring her to the Twin Cities with a good job and a great place to live that would be safe for her and here little boy!

Please pray for my hometown: Chennai, India which has been experiencing heavy rain & flooding over the past weeks. Nearly 269 have been reported dead & 200,000 abandoning their homes to move to safe places.

Please pray for my mom. She recently found out she has a large mass that has been growing in her head. She has to have surgery to remove it immediately. Pray that the surgeons will be able to successfully remove the mass without complications and that she will recover fully. Pray that the Lord will strengthen and protect her throughout this process. Pray that she will make it through and that she will be okay and that the mass is not cancerous.

Please pray that I will have wisdom as we begin to look for a school for our youngest child with special needs. I need strength, discernment and stamina as we begin this quest. The schools near us most likely aren't a good fit. He is so worth every extra effort - he is truly a gift and has so much to do in this world. I pray that people will treat him fairly and see his potential and go the extra distance to help us. As the one in charge of navigating this in our family, I need extra prayers of encouragement for me to stay hopeful and to not feel so alone.

My son has a serious situation at college. Please pray for his protection, and favor with the dean's and professors. He took a medical leave this semester. He is so close to graduation. Pray he will be able to return in January and have the strength and will to finish. Pray for victory, and to come out of this emotionally whole.

Please pray for our unborn baby boy whom we were told yesterday is not growing to the rate they would like to see and we are currently undergoing multiple tests (3 times a week) to determine what/if anything is wrong. We initially struggled with fertility issues and were told we likely would not get pregnant on our own so even being in this position is a miracle. But on top of it all we are hoping for a miracle that he is healthy and all will be ok. We love him so much already!
