My father passed away suddenly yesterday. I was, holding his hand so he didn't have to pass alone. I'm dealing with a lot of grief, loss and added anxiety during this time.

Hello
This morning my wife and I were sitting in the back during the 10:30 service. As the speaker was sharing I sensed that Jesus wanted me to walk down to the front and kneel in prayer. I was praying in the moment for a couple minutes and then the speaker extended an invitation.
Appreciate prayers that Jesus would work in and through me and all the others to love God and love people into his kingdom.

Praise God for answering one of my prayers that I submitted here on August 30th. Praise him for the work he was done in my life to break free from addiction.
Please pray that I will continue to be free from addiction for the rest of my life.
Every single one of my friends, who are all Christ-followers, have stopped speaking with me and have blocked me online as well. I don't understand why they have done this. Please pray that my friends and I can reconcile and spend time together again.
Unfortunately, my wife still seems adamant on getting divorced. I have not had any contact with her since mid-July.
Please pray that God will keep our marriage together if it is His will.
And please please pray, in the mighty name of Jesus that I will make it through the horribly painful emotional turmoil in my life.

I'm scheduled for a very evasive surgery on Friday, Nov 7th. I just found out that she is not very knowledgeable about the procedure. I had a God moment and I ran into a retired RN that worked in Spinal Surgery and informed me of this Neurosurgeon that has a 5+ star rating. I'm hoping and praying that I can get a urgent consult to see this surgeon.
Please send alot of prayers my way. I'm hoping that I'm guided by God to make the right decision.

Update: Mom did get home yesterday from the hospital. They have not ruled out a TIA, mini stroke. She has no lasting effects, Praise God. We had an interesting night last night with mom getting home and weak, me getting sick from taking Dulcolax and dad having a bloody nose that would not stop. We all did get sleep last night and will be resting today and tomorrow I will be going back to work and dealing with that stress. Still looking for a new job and wanting change with all that is going on.
