Dear Wooddale Family,
We finished our first group today. It was a great time of training, sharing and inspiration. All the Nepalese were so thankful to Wooddale for making it possible for us to be here. Our goal was to present leadership material that can be practically used in the field as they train up new pastors to go and plant churches.
Many of the men left with their hearts full. As we said our goodbyes, I realized what a sacrifice it was for some of them. A few pastors traveled two day by foot and fifteen hours by bus ride. They are so hungry for practical teaching that they can replicate.
Please enjoy some of the pictures that our team took of the sessions we spent together. We are back in India and preparing to do the session with a new group. One of the pastors is the son of the Dalai Lama’s right hand man. He converted to Christ after being miraculously healed of blood cancer. His life is now in danger but he has returned to Tibet on several occasions to plant house churches. I cannot wait to meet him and learn of his story of conversion and how it drastically changed his life. Stay tuned.
