Chad Anderson joined the Wooddale staff as pastor of Wooddale Worldwide, the church’s missions ministry, in September 2023. He brings a wealth of experience in both the ministry and business worlds.
Before coming to Wooddale, Chad served as the executive director of operations at Plymouth Covenant Church and on the Willow Creek Community Church leadership team. Outside of his ministry roles, he was also a tennis professional for eight years and a chief operating officer in the private club industry, overseeing startups and turnaround projects.
Chad earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science & Psychology from Lake Forest College. He and his wife, Charlsie, have a daughter, Quinn. Together, they are big Minnesota Timberwolves and St. Paul Saints fans.
Chad’s favorite Bible verse is James 1:22-24: Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
