Dave Donelson

VGalleryWooddale_0116-086Dave joined the Wooddale team in August of 2015 and is honored to be part of such an exciting place of God honoring ministry. His responsibilities include overseeing the care and compassion ministry and working with the always exciting senior adults. He also conducts the Wooddale Choir and leads the congregation in traditional worship. He is passionate about leading people into the presence of God each Sunday morning. Dave is the artistic director of Christmas at Wooddale, a much loved annual event held the second week-end of December featuring the Wooddale Choir and Orchestra.

Before joining the staff of Wooddale, Dave was a professor of music for over 25 years teaching and chairing the music departments of Crown College (Minnesota) and Malone University (Ohio). He is a graduate of Bethel University and Bethel Seminary. He earned his doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.

Dave and his wife Penny have been married for 36 years and have one daughter, one son in law and three perfect grandchildren. They love to travel all over the world. Their favorite destination is China, not only for the food but because that’s where their three perfect (was that already stated?) grandchildren live.
