Leith Anderson is Pastor Emeritus of Wooddale Church, where he was Senior Pastor for 35 years from 1977 through 2011.
Known for his clear communication and thoughtful approach to ministry, he also served as President of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and now holds the title of President Emeritus. Leith also served on the boards of Bethel University, Navigators, World Vision and World Relief.
He has a Doctorate in Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Ill.; Bradley University, Peoria, Ill; and Denver Seminary, Denver, Colorado. He has been published in many periodicals and has written and co-authored several books.
Leith continues to influence Christian leaders through writing, mentoring and speaking. His legacy reflects a deep commitment to Christ, the church and the gospel.
