Live Your Purpose

Groups

Everyone has a God-designed calling that can bring joy, fulfillment and impact to their lives and those around them. We want to help you unleash that calling.

Live Your Purpose is about more than just finding what makes you happy—it’s about uncovering the divine assignment that God has specifically designed for you. It’s about embarking on a journey of prayerful self-discovery and awakening to the unique gifts and potential He has given you.

Live Your Purpose group experience

There are four ways you can participate in Live Your Purpose and further explore your God-given purpose. One is to be a part of a Live Your Purpose Group.

When you are a part of a Live Your Purpose Group, you will join others as you work through S.H.A.P.E.: Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life by Erik Rees and the Live Your Purpose framework together.

Participants will need to purchase the S.H.A.P.E.: Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life book. Instructions on how to purchase will be sent to you once you register for the group. You will be expected to keep up with reading and homework assignments.

You’ll also be invited to Live Your Purpose community events.

Joining a group is a great way to create relationships with others who are also exploring their purpose. You’ll feel the support of your fellow group members and will help each other on your journey to understanding your calling.

Groups meet together six times for 90 minutes each at Wooddale Church’s Eden Prairie campus and are led by a group facilitator.

Note: Live Your Purpose is a service offered by Wooddale Church. It is not therapy, medical or spiritual intervention, nor intended to replace any of those.

Finding your S.H.A.P.E.
During Live Your Purpose, you will move forward as you discover and understand your individual purpose in life. The acronym S.H.A.P.E. stands for:

  • Spiritual Gifts
  • Heart
  • Abilities
  • Personality
  • Experiences

These key elements contribute to your unique identity and purpose. Each week, your group will discuss one element of the S.H.A.P.E. process.
