Serving Commitments
One of the best ways to connect with others and grow as a disciple of Jesus is through serving. Anyone who serves at Wooddale Church commits to actively living out these values:

  • Be an example: We represent Jesus when we serve in the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:20-27), and therefore commit to living our lives in active obedience to God. (Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 5:1-4; 1 Timothy 4:12; 1 Peter 1:13-16)
  • Put on love: We treat everyone we encounter with sincere love—no exceptions! (Matthew 22:34-40; Colossians 3:12-15)
  • Respect your teammates: We respect one another through our timeliness, proactive communication, and bringing a positive attitude. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
  • Thrive in life: We lead healthy ministries by living healthy lives, both inside and out. (Galatians 5:13-26; 1 Timothy 4:8)
  • Be all-in: We’re all-in on the mission and vision of Wooddale Church and we take personal ownership to move it forward. (Matthew 28:18-20)
  • Keep it fun: We are passionate about what we do and how we do it. Plan on laughing along the way! (Philippians 4:4)
