Serving our community one neighbor at a time

This is a love mission. Every day on the news we see that people are hurting. In our own community there are daily opportunities to share hope and help with those in need. Whether it’s doing yard work for a single mom down the street, bringing food to a struggling family, or bringing a foster child into a home, we want our neighbors to know we’re here for them.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself”

-Matthew 22:37-39

The Fall Food Drive is
September 26-October 29!

Nearly 10% of Minnesotans face food insecurity, many of whom are children. We have a goal to raise 25,000 pounds of food to meet this hunger need. There are three ways you can give:

  1. Pick up a WeAreFor bag, fill it with items from this list and drop them off at any Wooddale campus. A full bag weighs 14 pounds, on average.
  2. Purchase items from the Amazon Wish List and they will be delivered directly to Wooddale.
  3. Donate to the Compassion Fund.

We’ll deliver donated items to the following local food shelves every Monday and Friday throughout the Fall Food Drive:

  • PROP in Eden Prairie
  • Community Emergency Services in Minneapolis
  • Jericho Road in Minneapolis
  • VEAP in Bloomington
  • Urban Ventures
  • Source Ministry
  • Life Rebuilders
  • Faith Tabernacle Gospel Church in Minneapolis.

Thank you for your generosity in feeding the hungry and sharing the hope of the Gospel through this effort.

Our Spring Food Drive kicks off on February 28 and goes through the month of March!

How you can help:

  • Drop food off at any of our campuses on Sundays or throughout the week.
  • Help deliver the food to local food shelves on Monday and Friday mornings. Sign up here!

Thank you for helping to end hunger in the Twin Cities!
