Loring Park, Minnesota – December 14, 2015 – Wooddale Church is ready to launch its next church campus in Loring Park’s historic Music Box Theatre. A core team of current Wooddale members who currently reside in Minneapolis and the surrounding neighborhoods will begin to serve the Loring Park community and prepare for the campus’ launch in spring of 2016.
“The vision of Wooddale Church is to share the hope of Jesus Christ here, near and far,” says Senior Pastor, Dale Hummel. “We already have large and growing congregrations in Eden Prairie and Edina, and are excited to launch a downtown campus right in the heart of the Minneapolis community we have served for the past 70 years.”
Wooddale’s Loring Park Campus @ Music Box Theatre will offer engaging services featuring contemporary music, community service initiatives, and the opportunity to join Life groups to create community, discuss faith, and serve together.
“Wooddale is committed to keeping the local church local. By creating additional campuses around the Twin Cities, we are able to best serve our neighbors while still being part of a church that is committed to making a difference locally as well as globally” says Edina Campus Pastor, Kyle Robinson. “We are excited to join in what God is already doing right here in downtown Minneapolis.”
Wooddale Church has long time partnerships with organizations whose purpose is to serve the residents of Minneapolis. These organizations include Urban Ventures, Urban Homeworks, Lucy Craft Laney School, Hope Academy, Hope United CDC, Community Emergency Services, and Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.
Wooddale Church has served the Twin Cities since 1949. Wooddale has church campuses and academies in Eden Prairie and Edina, and has launched 9 daughter churches throughout the state.
